NORTHAMPTON, MA (August 26th, 2024)- Come celebrate the scare-free spirit of the season at the all-new Dark of Fright Halloween Party at Northampton Center for the Arts at 33 Hawley, Saturday, October 26th presented by Matt Dibrindisi Entertainment. Come in costume* for a night of tricks, treats and frightful fun for all ages.
Main floor features
Upon entry to Dark of Fright, guests will be able to trick-or-treat for free candy and toys for those with food allergies and enjoy unique vegan cupcakes made by Carefree Cakery of North Amherst. Guests can dance the evening away inside Club Castle at our devilish dance party. Our DJ will spin Halloween hits old and new by Oingo Boingo, Ray Parker Jr., Dua Lipa and more. Throughout the evening, guests can take in incredible circus feats and A2Z Science and Learning Toy Store’s Yo-Yo Team. Also on the main floor, guests can learn about healthcare and mental healthcare with resources provided by Wildflower Alliance and Transhealth.
Ground floor features
On the ground floor, guests can meet, take pictures with and get autographs from Pepperoni the Great in the Wizard Workshop and strike poses in frightfully fun photo-ops. A sensory space for autistic and other neurodivergent guests will also be provided.
Event details and admission
Dark of Fright will be held on Saturday, October 26th from 4-6PM at Northampton Center for the Arts at 33 Hawley Street in Northampton, MA. Admission wristbands are $0-$10 in-person on October 26th at the NCFA box office counter (pay what you can/no one turned away for lack of funds), or $5 and up online at Brown Paper Tickets.
*No prop weapons or long trailing fabrics out of safety. No gore or costume masks.
Mask Policy
In alignment with our culture of accessibility, Matt Dibrindisi Entertainment requests that guests wear masks at the event. A variety of masks will be provided at the door for those who need them, including transparent masks in an effort to accommodate folks who appreciate the opportunity to speech read and interpret facial expressions. At Pepperoni’s meet and greet, social distancing will be enforced to allow guests to remove their masks for photos with Pepperoni.
